On the night before I went to Bullet Tree Falls, I met this artist, Marcos Manzanero in town. We had a nice conversation, and he invited me to visit his place, also in Bullet Tree, so I did. He has a lovely place planted up with a lot of everything - a jungle atmosphere, on the other side of the river from where I was staying. I biked over a couple of times, and had some nice visits with him, touring the place, painting together, drinking local wine, and just enjoying a lot of talk and a nice developing friendship. Marcos' studio is up on a second floor that you access by climbing a tree.
